I just found out that if you sift through New Jersey's trashy, grimy exterior*, you'll find some legitimate, starry-eyed pop. Memory Cassette (http://www.myspace.com/memorycassette) are just those shoegazers producing it. Call me a sucker for the ethereal, kids.
