Yall. There are only two good things that have happened to music this week. One being the fact that Institubes hard-hitter Para One has teamed up with (formerly) Massachusetts' finest San Serac to create Slice & Soda:
The intro is a nice little soundscape that seems to emanate from Para One's lo-fi, dreamy synth lines as seen in his Naissance des Pieuvres soundtrack. Then it melts into San Serac's dirty bassline discotheque jams. It makes for an interesting listen.

And speaking of that sweeping "dreamscape" bullshit, let's talk about that Danger remix of my personal-favorites-that-you-can't-avoid-on-this-blog Empire of the Sun. They're just so zany!

Danger tore shit up when I saw him in Montreal at Les Foufounes Électriques last summer. He's going stateside soon, but unfortunately doesn't seem like he's coming to Boston.
